I well recall the household madness that preceded any event that involved my sister and I getting dressed up and the family arriving someplace on time. Church, weddings, funerals–it didn’t matter. If we needed to be clean, presentable, and punctual, there was invariably a period of yelling and parental threat making. Regardless of these moments of extreme stress, my father was–and remains–a family guy. He seeks out family restaurants, encourages togetherness, and seemingly has forgotten forcing me to eat liver.

Hyundai unveiled the new flagship sedan of its new premium brand at the 2016 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The 2017 Genesis G90 is a full-size luxury sedan. It will essentially replace the Hyundai Equus sedan at the top end of Hyundai’s corporate product lineup, and inaugurate the repositioning of the Genesis moniker as a full-fledged brand instead of a Hyundai model name.
Ford unveiled a significantly refreshed Ford Fusion as a 2017 model at the 2016 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. Its new technology features include pedestrian detection, hands-free perpendicular- and parallel parking, Ford’s Sync 3 multimedia system (which replaces the finicky MyFord Touch interface), and a space-saving rotary dial gear-shift selector.
