It’s probably a lot of work cranking out multiple concept vehicles every year, but the folks at Jeep have been introducing fun fantasy rides in conjunction with their Annual Moab Easter Safari for a while now.
There’s no better place than an auto show to see a broad range of brand-new vehicles up close, and there’s also no better place to check out the latest trends in factory paint-color offerings. One of our Chicago Auto Show traditions is to scour the show floor on the hunt for interesting new or recently introduced colors—“double-take” hues that are more eye-catching that the usual whites, silvers, blacks, and grays (and, for that matter, straightforward fire-engine reds).

DETROIT—BMW officially introduced the latest in its seemingly ever-proliferating line of crossover SUV models at the 2018 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The 2018 BMW X2 is a compact crossover that shares its basic platform with the BMW X1, but it offers sleeker bodywork and low-slung proportions that focus more on style than utility.
DETROIT—Ford unveiled the long-awaited 2019 version of its Ranger pickup truck at the 2018 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The revival marks the return of a small/midsize pickup truck to Ford showrooms—the previous Ranger was last sold in the U.S. for the 2011 model year. Per Ford, demand for midsize pickups has risen more than 80 percent since 2014, and is expected to continue to rise.
DETROIT—The 2018 North American International Auto Show in Detroit is just around the corner (official press events begin this weekend), and Honda has already released details on one of the vehicles that will be making its public debut at the show. The Honda Insight Prototype is a sleek-looking 5-passenger sedan that reveals the design of the regular-production 2019 Insight hybrid, which Honda says will launch nationwide later this year.
