The annual Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in Las Vegas is a time for automakers and aftermarket suppliers to have some fun. Stellantis, the parent company of Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Fiat, and Alfa Romeo, and its Mopar parts division kitted out several vehicles with new accessories that will allow owners to add a personal touch to their rides.

2024 SEMA Show: Stellantis

Ram 2500 Power Wagon Concept

With this available two-tone paint, body graphics, and buff stance, the Ram 2500 Power Wagon is a solid canvas for Mopar’s engineers to do some custom work. The Concept brought to SEMA sports unique Satin Stealth Sand exterior paint with contrasting Matte Deep Black on the outside of the bed, along with Header Orange tow hooks and roof accents. The truck rolls on custom Anthracite Grey Rhino Alpha wheels and 35-inch Goodyear tires. Suspension remains stock as does the 6.4-liter V8 engine, though the latter is housed under a Mopar sport performance hood.

The truck’s bed has several unique tricks, including a drop-in slide to ease loading and unloading of bulky cargo. Third-party outfitter Leitner Designs created a series of pods along the side rails, adding storage space without compromising what’s available in the bed itself. The cabin gets two-tone black and brown leather upholstery with suede accents and orange stitching. A Mopar-designed instrument panel rail provides a secure mount for mobile devices.

Moparized 1500 Ram RHO

Another Ram on display is the Moparized 1500 Ram RHO, which takes on a street truck theme with its blue body graphics, 37-inch tires, wide fender flares, and stamped side steps. The engine also gets a high-output version of Stellantis’ 3.0-liter “Hurricane” 6-cylinder with 540 horsepower and 521 pound-feet of torque mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. A custom exhaust provides a unique sound.

1967 Plymouth GTX Electromod Concept from Mopar

Among Stellantis’ other SEMA offerings is a 1967 Plymouth GTX “Electromod” Concept. This car represents a potential evolution of the “resto-modding” scene where owners take the bones of a classic car and upgrade it with modern hardware. The Electromod uses a genuine 1967 Plymouth GTX but swaps out its high-performance gasoline engine for fully electric propulsion. Stellantis estimates output at 335 horsepower with a driving range of 250 miles. The conversion kit also includes all the other exterior and mechanical components needed to fit, including things like a power steering pump, charging port, and fender aprons. For those who prefer traditional resto-modding, there’s a Custom 1968 Dodge Charger built by Mark Worman, star of “Graveyard Carz” on Motor Trend TV.

Jeep will have several custom rides on display, including the Low Down Concept, Willys Dispatcher Concept, Gladiator Rubicon High Top Concept, and Vacationeer Concept.

The 2024 SEMA show runs from November 5-8. While there are activities available outside the convention center, the main show floor is not open to the public.

CG Says

Despite some headwinds for the auto industry right now, we’re glad to see the SEMA Show is going strong. Stellantis is bringing a fun and imaginative selection of vehicles that pay homage to its past while looking to the future. The Ram Power Wagon and 1500 RHO concepts also present interesting opportunities for the full spectrum of truck buyers, including weekend warriors and those who will never set a wheel off-road.
