Jeep

The automaker’s flagship brand showcased its latest products at its “Camp Jeep” interactive display. Highlights include:

2026 Jeep Cherokee

  • The redesigned 2026 Cherokee, which sports new sheetmetal and its first-ever gas/electric hybrid drivetrain that promises an estimated 37 mpg city/highway combined with a potential driving range of more than 500 miles.
  • The refreshed 2026 Grand Cherokee, which gets its own new engine: a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder that produces 324 horsepower. Fear not, V6 fans – the previous 3.6-liter motor remains available. A simplified lineup sees the number of available trim levels reduced to three from the previous nine.
  • The updated 2026 Grand Wagoneer. Jeep discontinued the standard Wagoneer and will slot a lower-priced base grade in its place. Powered by a 3.0-liter “Hurricane” turbocharged 6-cylinder, the new entry-level trim will be priced from $62,145-$68,145 plus $2,595 destination fee depending on wheelbase and drivetrain selection.
  • The fully electric 2026 Recon. Think of this as a battery-powered version of the iconic Wrangler. Jeep promises it will be just as capable off-road while providing up to 650 horsepower and 250 miles of range.

 Ram

The company’s pickup truck division boasted about the return of its 5.7-liter “Hemi” V8 engine, which will be available across most of its 2026 light-duty 1500 lineup. Also shown were:

  • 2026 Ram 2500 Power Wagon, Diesel, Cummins
    2026 Ram 2500 Power Wagon

The 2026 1500 REV. Rumors of Stellantis outright dropping the first all-electric Ram pickup were greatly exaggerated. With its 92 kilowatt-hour battery and 130-kW generator, the company claims up to 14,000 pounds of towing capacity and a crazy 690 miles of driving range.

  • The 2027 1500 SRT TRX. One of the craziest rigs ever engineered, the TRX returns with a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine that produces 777 horsepower.
  • The 2027 2500 Power Wagon, which will be available for the first time with a Cummins 6.7-liter turbodiesel inline 6-cylinder engine that outputs 430 horsepower and an earth-shattering 1,075 pound-feet of torque.

Dodge

Focus for the Dodge brand was on its revamped Charger lineup. Dubbed “multi-energy,” for offering gas and battery-powered drivetrains, showgoers could see these 2026 models:

  • The R/T, which Dodge claims has the most horsepower of any all-wheel-drive (AWD) car for less than $50,000. It boasts a twin-turbo 3.0-liter 6-cylinder engine with 420 horsepower and 468 pound-feet of torque.
  • The Scat Pack, which ups the ante to a high-output version of the R/T’s engine producing 550 horsepower and 531 pound-feet of torque.
  • The Daytona, which continues with its 670 horsepower, fully electric propulsion system.

Chrysler

Chrysler Pacifica Grizzly Peak Concept, Chicago Auto Show
Chrysler Pacifica Grizzly Peak Concept

Despite only offering the Pacifica and lower-cost Voyager minivans, Chrysler still has some tricks up its sleeve in the form of the Grizzly Peak concept. Built as an imagining of what an “overlanding adventure vehicle” might look like, designers took a Pacifica Limited with all-wheel drive and jacked up its ride height by more than 2 inches. Chunky off-road tires replace the standard street-only treads, and the 3rd-row seat has been removed for a solid cargo floor panel.

CG Says:

Jeep’s mix of new hybrid, electric, and gas-powered models shows how the brand is trying to cover every corner of the SUV market while still leaning into its off-road identity. Ram’s return to high-output V8 engines plus the launch of the electric REV suggests this division isn’t ready to let go of traditional muscle even as it experiments with electrification. Dodge continues to push its “multi-energy” strategy with the Charger, giving its performance-minded audience a reason to not completely abandon the brand. The Chrysler Pacifica Grizzly Peak is a neat concept with bolt-on parts that could one day be sold by Stellantis’ Mopar accessories division.
