
We’ve celebrated a few noteworthy uses of wildlife in vintage automotive print ads, including horses, and dogs. Do check these galleries out. One animal we’re just getting to here is the bird. Don’t know why we’ve waited this long to celebrate our feathered friends, perhaps it’s just because they can’t be ridden or easily petted.

Birds make for fine illustrations though, as seen in the ads curated below. Note, too, that Lincoln ran a celebrated series of bird ads way back in 1928. All of the ads, featuring fantastically rendered exotic specimens, were illustrated by artist Stark Davis. You can see most of the ads by clicking here.
