CG Says:
The 2022 Audi Q3 adds standard blind-spot alert, rear cross-traffic alert, and parking sensors to the base Premium model. The Premium Plus trim gains standard topview camera. The Q3 is a premium subcompact crossover SUV that was redesigned for 2019. The sole power train is a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine mated to an 8-speed auto with standard all-wheel drive. In the 40 TFSI version this engine develops 184 horsepower, while the 45 TFSI puts out 228. Available features include collision warning and mitigation, blind-spot alert, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, topview camera, and park assist. The current-generation Q3 offers more room, power, and equipment than the previous Q3, making it a strong contender in the competitive premium subcompact crossover segment.
We regard the Q3 as a classy, efficient premium vehicle that offers luxury-crossover utility and–all things considered–is available at reasonable prices. The Q3 is surprisingly roomy given its diminutive footprint, and is well suited to large and tall drivers.
As in most Audis, the Q3 cabin is a classy affair, blending clean, modern design with high-quality materials. Some drivers found the Q3 digital interface more complicated than it needed to be, but acclimated to the system over time. In this class we also recommend the excellent Genesis GV70, but suggest you give the Audi a serious look, too.
