Outside, a freshened front fascia hosts a brushed-appearance grille and revised headlights, with LED running and fog lights being newly available. In back, revisions include restyled taillights and exhaust outlets along with a new bumper. In between is new rocker-panel trim incorporating silver accents.
New features abound. Now standard on the 3-row Santa Fe and optional on the 2-row Sport is a 7-inch touchscreen with Android Auto. An 8-inch screen is featured with the available navigation system. Other newly available features include power height adjustment for the driver seat and matte-finish wood interior trim.

On the high-tech side, you can now get a multi-view camera, adaptive cruise control with start/stop function, lane-departure warning, forward collision alert and mitigation with pedestrian detection, and dynamic headlights with automatic high beams. A new Infinity audio system is offered that features QuantumLogic surround sound and Clari-Fi music restoration capability. Also available is a hands-free power liftgate that opens automatically when the driver stands nearby with the key in their pocket or purse. Hyundai’s next-generation Blue Link system that’s standard on the Santa Fe and optional on the Santa Fe Sport brings numerous new capabilities, including remote start with climate control, remote door lock/unlock, and Blue Link Guidance, which includes Destination Search powered by Google.
