Since its introduction for 1993, Subaru’s Impreza has stood out in the compact class as being one of the few – and in many years, the only – member to offer all-wheel drive. And since 1997, AWD has been standard.
Subaru unveiled both the hatchback and sedan versions of its all-new 2017 Impreza compact car in conjunction with the 2016 New York Auto Show. The redesigned Impreza is slightly larger all-around than its predecessor: it grows one inch in wheelbase, 1.6 inches in overall length, and 1.5 inches in width.
Subaru gave the public a clear preview of what the next-generation Impreza sedan will look like by unveiling the Impreza Sedan Concept at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show.
